What We Do

Healing Springs Hope would love to be a part of your healing journey.

We provide mental health counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy from the comforts of your own home virtually. We are 100% virtual at this time. We currently provide virtual services for patients in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. We are headquartered in beautiful Cheshire county, in Keene, New Hampshire.

All Services Can Be Conducted in English or American Sign Language

I am hard of hearing/deaf since birth, with deep ties to the Deaf community. The deaf community needs services in our own language with someone who understands our community. I have attended both mainstream and deaf schools growing up, and have experienced the full spectrum of deaf socialization and education. My business partner is also hard of hearing/deaf and bilingual.

Licensed Mental Health Counseling

As Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Karen provides care for individuals of all ages struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges. She uses a strengths based and integrative approach to help clients identify and develop coping skills to help get through difficult times.

Karen has worked with clients struggling with stress of daily life, major changes, loss, depressive and anxious symptoms, and trauma history. She truly believes that movement, as well as being heard in a safe environment, is very healing.

Dance/Movement Therapy

Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT) is a creative arts therapy that combines psychotherapy, movement and dance. It can support individuals on an intellectual and emotional level and can adapt to, or improve, motor functions of the body. DMT can help clients build self-esteem and positive body image, and develop movement vocabulary for their body. Through increase self awareness and insight, clients can improve communication, relationships, and patterns of behavior. DMT is available as a stand alone therapeutic service or as a part of your verbal counseling sessions with Karen.
